There’s no sign that autumn is right around the corner quite like the launch of the Starbucks fall food and drink menu. After all, would it really be autumn without a little pumpkin spice? We’re certainly excited to having the Pumpkin Spice Latte back, but that’s not the only exciting news brewing up at Starbucks this season.
From the return date of the Pumpkin Spice Latte in 2024 to more from the Starbucks fall menu, here’s what you have to look forward to this autumn—you’ll totally fall for all of it.
It was a matter of when, not if: The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte will officially be available again starting Thursday, August 22, 2024. Arriving just in time for the weekend (and, yes, a full month before the official start of fall on September 22), the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte for yet another year is a very early reminder that summer really won’t last forever.
It inspires divisive opinions, but there’s no denying that the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte—or PSL, to its many fans—has been a fall must-have for more than 20 years. (2024 marks the Pumpkin Spice Latte’s 21st year in Starbucks stores.) And don’t start the fall-comes-earlier-every-year argument over this announcement: The 2024 return of the PSL on August 22 comes just two days before last year’s, which returned to stores on August 24, 2023. You can chalk that timeline shift up to which date falls on a Thursday, not a desire to make autumn come earlier.

When the air gets cooler and you are finding you need an extra sweater more than not, it can be easy to want to prune all of your plants and flowers to get ready for the upcoming season.
If you love autumn as much as we do, get excited—it's finally time to bust out the autumn decor!

You don’t need a big backyard or orchard to enjoy the fruits (or vegetables) of your gardening labor! For an abundant fall and winter harvest, you just need pots and some empty space open to the sun, like a balcony, patio, or rooftop!
