The Home Depot has already celebrated Summerween and launched its annual assortment of Halloween decorations online, but that doesn’t mean the hype around its fan-favorite Halloween decor collection is over for the season: You still have time to pick up some outdoor decorations to wow (and maybe terrify) your neighbors, as The Home Depot is bringing its Halloween decorations to store shelves starting August 29.
We’ve already seen fan favorites like The Home Depot’s 12-foot skeleton (and new companion dog skeleton) launch online earlier this summer; now, these decorations—and more—are making their ghastly appearances in stores, almost exactly two months ahead of Halloween. «Larger setups, like our towering animatronics, require careful consideration and early preparation,» says Lance Allen, senior product merchant of decorative holiday at The Home Depot. «When customers start decorating early, they can avoid the last-minute rush, ensure they secure their desired items, and create a Halloween display that's truly memorable.»
If you’ve not already familiarized yourself with The Home Depot’s online Halloween selection, you may be wondering why the brand has waited to release its products in stores.
