When it comes to Halloween, we often imagine classic pumpkins, ghosts, and spiders swathed in moody hues. However, some are swapping their spooky decor for something a little more light-hearted—enter: Pinkoween.

In the beginning of 2020, dalgona coffee—aka whipped coffee—quickly took the internet by storm. This tasty treat is often made in strawberry and chocolate flavors, but that's not all: You can also make pumpkin spice whipped coffee to easily transform the fluffy goodness of whipped coffee for autumn with just a bit of pumpkin spice.

For years, right around back to school time—and sometimes, even earlier—supermarkets, coffee shops, and some seriously unexpected places start deluging Americans with all things pumpkin spice. Ever since Starbucks debuted its pumpkin spice latte in 2003, countless copycats and pumpkin spice products have made this trend as much of a mascot of fall as leaf piles, football, and apple orchards.

Containers are the finishing touch in any garden and can be filled for every season. Summer is typically seen as the pinnacle of planting for containers, but that is just a starting point. While many see mums (Chrysanthemum cvs.), pansies (Viola cvs.), and ornamental grasses as the go-to options for fall containers, I lean toward materials that are outside the box. With cooler temperatures and shorter days, plants are not in growth mode, and I find my clients have lost interest in watering and waiting for plants to fill in. They want instant gratification.
