For Lacey Chabert, the holidays can't come soon enough—the «Mean Girls» and Hallmark holiday star started decorating her home for the holidays the day after Halloween.
We are often divided: some are all for starting the holidays early, or they wait until after Thanksgiving to deck their halls. Chabert, however, loves the Christmas season so much that she wants it to last as long as possible. So, she decorates as early as possible.
With festive feels abound, Chabert partnered with Glade to truly ring in the festivities this season. She chatted with us about her holiday must-haves, hosting tips, and some of her favorite traditions.
Chabert partnered with Glade for their limited edition holiday collection of candles and plugins. Each of the nine scents evokes a sense of holiday nostalgia—and Chabert already has them lit in her home.
She starts her holiday season by decorating her home and baking cookies with her daughter. Her favorite Glade candle was the perfect way to set the mood for these traditions.
«I was burning my favorite candle, which is the Starlight and Snowflakes,» she says. «And it's just it creates such a beautiful vibe and that holiday ambiance in your house.»

Christmas decorating isn't complete without Christmas music, of course. Chabert considers herself a holiday maximalist: someone who decks their halls to the nines year after year. Rather than getting rid of old decorations to make space for new ones, Chabert just keeps adding more and more to her collection.
«I can't even park my car in the garage because I have so many Christmas decorations,» she says. «I just love it all—the more lights and ornaments, the better. I say go big.»

Deck the halls with boughs of holly—or don’t. Decorating for the holidays the traditional way, with lights, wreaths, and a tree full of ornaments, isn’t for everyone. If you want to bring the seasonal spirit into your home without dragging boxes of holiday knick-knacks out of storage, you’re in luck. There are plenty of ways to get your home feeling festive, and not a single bough of holly is necessary. To learn how to execute a holiday-inspired home design—one without Santas or stockings—we tapped designer Gideon Mendelson for his expert advice.

The holiday season has arrived, and it’s time to break out the holiday decor for all the upcoming festivities. While there are plenty of things on your plate to decide, selecting the holiday decor that fits your style, budget, and preferences can be a daunting task. Luckily, our zodiac signs can shed some light on which decor suits us best.
If traditional Christmas carols were given a modern spin, «Deck the Halls,» would really mean deck the halls, roof, porch, and lawn. While a Christmas tree in the living room is still the star of interior holiday decor, front yards are often the next hot spot for holiday decor displays.
If you're lucky enough to have a fireplace mantel in your home, you won't want to miss out on the opportunity to decorate it this holiday season and create a beautiful display that the whole family will enjoy.
Buying furniture can be an overwhelming process, especially if you know what you need but aren’t quite sure what you want—and the challenges only grow from there. Once you finally figure out your preferences, where do you begin?
They say a picture tells a thousand words. But in the case of botanical art it’s fair to say that it’s probably far more than that, as proven by a magnificent new book Drawn from Nature: The Flowering of Irish Botanical Art by the Wicklow-based art historian and author Patricia Butler (Acc Art Books UK, £35).
We're big fans of upgrading your current Christmas decor on a budget and want to encourage you to do the same. With the new decorating trend that uses velvet ribbon bows as an elegant (and easy) Christmas tree decoration, the latest viral ornament upgrade is a no-brainer to try.
There is no other spring flower filled with as much color and optimism as the tulip. However, in order to create a dazzling seasonal display in the garden, you must give some careful consideration to planting your bulbs.
