For those of you that have been around for a while, you know that we have done so many projects with the 2 pallets of reclaimed brick that we got from a local greenhouse. And we still have some left! We have been slowly creating a little backyard retreat, and instead of a fire pit where the bottom always rusts out, I decided to make a permanent fire pit with the leftover brick.
How to Make a Fire Pit with Leftover Brick Before
Things You Will Need:
Use 2 Bricks and Mark your Diameter. This fire pit is 36″.
Repeat step 1 with two more bricks
Fill in the gaps with brick to make a ring.
Place adhesive on the bottom of the next row of brick and stack.
Repeat step 4 with the 3rd layer of bricks.
Fill the center with pea gravel
We already had gravel down in this area, but if you are building this on a patio or the grass simply fill the inside of the pit with gravel. And voila!
