Believe it or not, 2023 is nearly over, and on the horizon, we have a sneak peek into the captivating home trends set to dominate in 2024.
Zillow, the real-estate marketplace, combed through nearly 300 for-sale listings on their site, meticulously looking to narrow down the most commonly used home features and design styles.
Using the keywords that show up more frequently now than a year ago, Zillow is predicting the features and design elements that might just take over our social media feeds next year.
“When certain keywords appear in a rising share of listings, it's a signal that today's home buyers may be gravitating toward those features,” Amanda Pendleton, Zillow's home trends expert, said in a press release. “Real estate agents are uniquely attuned to subtle changes in what buyers want, and they often get a first look at the latest and greatest features going into newly built homes. Savvy listing agents will highlight those trending, in-demand features when marketing a home for sale.”
There are six trends here to stay next year: brutalism, sensory gardens, cold plunge pools, pickleball courts, Murano glass chandeliers, and murals.

In this article, I’m going to talk about when to cut back mums during the growing season and whether you should prune them after the blooms fade in fall or wait until spring.
As we look ahead to 2024, it's important to reflect back on what colors we should leave behind. Since interior designers work with so many different color palettes throughout their projects, we asked a few to share the colors they'd be happy parting ways with and why.

When she and her husband moved in, it was a completely bare piece of land, so she’s created this entire garden from nothing.
Today we’re visiting with Jill Hammond.
