We tapped in a few of our favorite designers to share what they’re looking for this fall, and we’ve rounded up a few suggestions with their tips in mind—plus, all their picks point to a clear trend: vintage-inspired pieces are all the rage for fall.

Whether you’re adding a new piece or swapping out seasonal prints, Mallory Robins, interior designer and co-founder of KOBEL + CO, says she is springing for new art this fall.
“Art—always art,” Robins says. “Art is the easiest thing to change up if you are feeling like a decor refresh.”

As you look for new art, Robins suggests considering how you want your space to feel. Opt for something fun and autumnal to last the season, or skew spooky and moody for a more festive aesthetic.
“[Art is] the fastest way to create a mood in any space,” Robins says.

If you’re looking for an outdoor refresh, Elizabeth Bennett, interior designer and co-founder of KOBEL + CO, says she loves seasonal planting in a large urn.

Bennett suggests leaning into truly seasonal picks, like lush cabbages and graceful grasses.

While outdoor urns are beautiful, interior urn-shaped vases can be just as lovely. As you create your seasonal arrangements, Bennett also suggests going for arrangements rich in lush greens and purples.
