Cucumbers are good on their own, in mocktails, on a tea sandwich—but when shaken up into a salad, they're apparently irresistible.
In a post with nearly 18 million views, TikTok creator Logan Moffitt describes his most popular cucumber recipe with the caption, «Another day, another cucumber salad.»
«I was about to go to sleep, but I'm craving an entire cucumber,» he begins. After walking viewers through the tutorial for making his cucumber salad, he gets ready to taste test his creation. «This is going to be so good. Now shake it—make sure you shake it super well. Let's try it!»
He takes a bite, and you hear the crunch.
«This is the best late night snack,» Moffitt says. «This is exactly what I needed.»
This may be the most viral of the cucumber TikToks, but it's certainly not the only one you can find on the app. There are hundreds of videos showing you how to eat a whole cucumber just like this.
«This is the THIRD eat an entire cucumber video I’ve seen on my fyp in the last 5 minutes,» one person commented under Moffitt's video. «I think the universe wants me to eat an entire cucumber.»
Now, Moffitt is known as the cucumber guy. He says he eats two to three cucumbers a day and is constantly thinking about how he can create a new take on the cucumber salad. It makes sense—these veggies are cheap, healthy, and can be dressed up or down exactly how you want them. So, of course I had to give the viral salad a chance.
I didn't have a mandolin slicer, so I sliced my cucumber by hand. This isn't a particularly big hassle, but if you, like Moffitt, needed a cucumber in the dead of the night, using a mandolin would speed up the process.

It's back-to-school season, which means things could get a little messy in your home and of course, on your clothes. Arts and crafts are all fun and games until you can't get the glitter glue out of your beloved favorite dresses or blouses.
Boxwood (Buxus) are slow-growing shrubs that lend year-round evergreen symmetry and structure to a space. Popular as hedges and topiaries, poor practices like over-shearing have made it unviable and vulnerable to disease. Here are the best alternatives to the quintessential boxwood, which is likely more manageable and natural to your setting!
If you've heard the term «pizza pot pie» as of late, it's because the internet can't get enough of the (deep) dish.
