According to the furniture brand Sixpenny, monochrome is out and mixing jewel tones like amethyst, sapphire, ruby red, emerald green, and topaz or citrine yellow. You can incorporate this into your own home by painting entire rooms in the colors, buying furniture to match the tones, or simply accessorizing with light touches of bold and deep colors.

“People are rediscovering color in their homes, and jewel tones are at the forefront of that shift," Rob Natale, the Chief of Design at Sixpenny, said in a press release. «It’s a perfect way to incorporate richness, whether as an accent or as the centerpiece for a space, since they create such a strong counterpoint to almost any look.»
