This is an easy to build, minimal extra supplies needed, and a perfect way to keep your bikes out of the weather. We used a total of 18 pallets. Here's how we did it!
Started with 20 pallets...after trial and error, found that a sawzall was best taking a part the pallets.
Checking out the size...looks right. You can see we used 6 whole pallets for the base and one cut in half for the back wall.
Side view after filling in the gaps of the pallets.
We added 2x4s from front to back and filled in with more pallet slats.
Added a corrugated roof to keep the rain out.
We built the doors out of more pallet slats. Went vertical with the slats to contrast the sides. Doors are each 35”W x 54”H
Used an opaque stain we picked up from the big blue home improvement box store from their “Oops” section. 1 gallon for $9!
Finished product. Doors stained dark.
Final dimensions: 80” W x 80” L x 72”H in back, 56”H in front. Hope you love it as much as we do.

Barns are a staple of the average homestead or farm. You need a barn for multiple purposes. Either it is to store your produce of grain, or to keep the livestock fodder dry and safe.
