Method 1: Use Water and OilThings you’ll need:
Glass cup Water Lamp oil (or cooking oil) Candle wick A pair of scissors Food coloring Marbles Empty plastic bottle
Step 1. Cut off the bottom of a plastic bottleUsing a pair of scissors, cut the bottom off a plastic bottle in a circle.
Step 2. Make a hole and thread the wickGrab a compass or use the tip of the scissor blade to make a hole in the center of the plastic circle. Thread a candle wick through the hole and cut off the excess wick.
Step 3. Throw your favorite marbles and water into a glass cupPut some marbles into a glass cup and pour water over them.
Step 4. Add food coloring of your choice (optional)If you used transparent or white stones, you may add a few drops of your favorite food coloring to the water.
Step 5. Pour oil into the glass cupPour about half cup of oil (either lamp oil or cooking oil like olive oil)
