I don't like using harsh chemicals at all. You don't need to when it comes to killing weeds. You can kill them with a couple of items you probably already have in your home! You can see more of my crazy creations here
Here is one of the weeds in our rocks. This one happens to be a dandelion, and we get them in our rocks like crazy.
I fill a spray bottle up with white vinegar. The stronger the vinegar the faster the weed will die.
Next, I add salt. You can use any kind of salt you want — table salt, Epsom salt, sea salt, etc. for this small spray bottle I add about 4 Tablespoons.
I place the lid on and I shake it until it's mixed together and ready to use. You'll want the salt to be dissolved into the vinegar to be most effective.
Spray on the weed, and wait 24 hours.
The vinegar is acidic and the salt is drying to the plant.
As long as it doesn't rain or the weed doesn't get watered it should die by the next day.
