Whether you’re looking for something new for your home after your big spring cleaning or something fun to decorate with as the season changes, Google has what you need. The home category is chock full of great recommendations, providing you with the perfect pick for whatever you’re looking to update in your space.
Google found all of these trends not just by talking to experts like Stewart, but also by getting insights based on U.S. Google Trends data, the Google Trends Explore tool, and Google’s proprietary internal tools.
The data is collected from October 2023 to January 2024, and then its team selected current trending products that match “one or more of the following criteria in recent months: search interest hit an all-time high, achieved breakout search interest or dramatically higher search interest compared to the norm.”
For instance, people searched for “armchairs” and “papasan chair” more than any other type of side chair, while a loveseat is the top trending chair. “Floor lamp” searches spike every January, and people are always searching for vases in February.

IKEA is a home goods retailer that knows how to help people revamp their spaces.
