The furniture retailer launched The Edit, a follow-up to its recently-debuted IKEA Style Guide, and its first edition—Swedish Roots—is all about bringing the spring season indoors through natural tones, blonde woods, primary colors, and outdoorsy greens. As always, you want to keep your space clutter-free (especially in the spirit of spring cleaning) while also adding in some fun, style, brightness, and accent colors to make the trek from inside to outside seamless.
“Think of your home as a seasonal reflection of who you are,” Abbey Stark, an interior design leader at IKEA, said in a blog post. “Spring is a time for rejuvenation and renewal, so try something new. Don't be afraid to take risks, like welcoming textiles in bolder patterns and brighter colors than usual.”
